Water Resources Engineering for Resilient Rivers and Communities
CLIMATE RESILIENCE
We account for dynamism to create natural systems and resilient infrastructure that are adaptive in response to an evolving set of climatic forces.
ECOLOGICAL RESTORATION
We utilize core concepts of fluvial geomorphology to improve natural systems for aquatic organism passage, stream/floodplain connectivity, and aquatic and terrestrial habitat.
NATURE-BASED SOLUTIONS
We develop designs that seamlessly integrate environment and infrastructure, creating harmony between the natural and built environments.
Unearth our Story
Our principal, Matt Jackson, PE, CERP, is a classically-trained fluvial geomorphologist and water resources engineer with over a decade of experience. Matt started his career in the Chesapeake Bay Region and moved to Vermont in 2020. He utilizes his expertise in stream geomorphic assessment, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, and restoration design to complete projects focused on aquatic organism passage, dam removal, streambank stabilization, and culvert/small bridge design.
